While going through the Savoy Cocktail book I went through what I called my coconut Rum phase. I went through countless old recipes and simply substituted Coconut Rum to see what would happen. It further cemented my belief that Coconut Rum is good in anything. Yes, it tastes like suntan lotion, but that’s a good thing! This was a variation on a Corpse Reviver #2.


¾ oz Parrot Bay Coconut Rum

¾ oz Lillet Blanc

¾ oz Combier Orange Liqueur

¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice

3 drops of Absinthe


Shake and double strain into chilled coup.  Garnish with Lime Peel.

The Vudu-Da-Yudu was beautifully balanced and delicious! I am adding it to the rotation of cocktails in our household!
