The Baba Yaga

This is my improved version of the White Russian. It was created in Columbus Ohio for Water Shed distilleries’ “Best of Worst” cocktail competition.


This drink is rich, savory, and a great improvement over the old school White Russian. (In my opinion)


1 oz Aged rum

1 oz Coffee liqueur

1 oz Oat milk

Three dashes vanilla tincture (or three drops of vanilla extract)

One whole egg


Shake all ingredients vigorously to froth the milk and egg, then shake with ice to chill and dilute.


Double strain cocktail through a Hawthorne strainer and a tea strainer, into a glass with one large ice cube.


Garnish with a grating of fresh nutmeg.
