Suntory Whisky Toki Highball

Downtown L.A.'s Faith and Flower serves a cocktail by this name for brunch, and it is so deliciously light in flavor and contains enough hydration that is NOT whiskey to help you keep pace if brunch stretches on for hours, which it absolutely should. You can also garnish with fresh herbs or a maraschino cherry. Treat yourself! And if I'm with you, treat me!

Ingredients

1 ½ oz Suntory Toki Whisky

Club soda

Fresh lemon peel

Instructions

Fill a collins glass with ice (pebble ice is my favorite for this drink, but crushed or cubed will also do). Pour whisky over ice. Fill remainder of glass with club soda. Garnish with a twist of fresh lemon. (For best results, use a channel knife.) Be sure to twist the lemon over the glass, so the oils land on the drink.
