Whether you think of it as a minty Gimlet or a gin Julep, the Southside is a tantalizing sour that's been around for a century. (A version of the recipe first appeared in Recipes for Mixed Drinks by Hugh Enslinn in 1916 as the "South Side Fizz.")

2 oz London Dry Gin

1 oz Lime Juice

¾ oz Simple Syrup

8 Mint Leaves

Frappé/Dump into Highball glass. Top with Crushed Ice. Garnish with Lime Wedge and Mint Sprig.
