The official cocktail of New Orleans was originally made with French brandy. But the transition to Rye Whiskey adds a depth of nutty flavor and makes the drink officially American. 


2 oz Rye Whiskey

½ oz Simple Syrup

4 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters

*Absinthe Rinse


Stir/Strain into Absinthe rinsed Old Fashioned Glass. No Ice. Garnish with Lemon Twist.
