Ramos Gin Fizz

The Ramos Gin Fizz is a classic New Orleans concoction, first mixed in 1888 by Henry Charles “Carl” Ramos at the Imperial Cabinet Saloon. Carl Ramos used Old Tom gin, but a London dry will do. It's both rich and light and worth the effort!


2 oz London Dry Gin

½ oz Lime Juice

½ oz Lemon Juice

¾ oz Simple Syrup

¾ oz or 1 Egg White

1 oz Heavy Cream

3 dashes Orange Flower Water


Dry Shake/Shake/Strain into Highball glass. Wait for drink to set. Slowly pour Soda Water into center of glass until head rises over the top.
