Parisienne Blanc

This drink is a riff on the Parisian Blond from the Savoy Cocktail Book, and a traditional White Russian. The rum and cognac both have lots of vanilla notes. The fats in the cream help to amplify the flavors. Feel free to adjust the sweetness with more or less simple syrup.


1 oz Demerara rum

1 oz cognac

1 oz heavy cream

½ oz Simple Syrup

Tools needed: jigger, cocktail shaker


Add ingredients with ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a lowball glass.
