Playing off the Lily cocktail that was featured in Harry Craddock's The Savoy Cocktail Book, which is basically this same recipe but with Crème de Noyaux. My mother, whose name is Lili, prefers almonds to hazelnuts, so, in her honor for Mother's Day, I modified the recipe and created the Lili! I love the way the citrus plays against the sweetness of the liqueur, and the resulting cocktail was really beautiful. I hope you'll enjoy one yourself!

1 oz London Dry Gin

1 oz Disaronno Amaretto

1 oz Lillet Blanc

¼ oz fresh lemon juice

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and double strain into a Nick and Nora or Coupe glass. Garnish with orange twist.

Lovely drink! Surprisingly the flavor reminded me of maraschino, which I happen to love. I found it just a tiny bit sweet, and I went to 1.5oz of gin which was perfect for me.
