Grapefruit Rickey

The Gin Rickey was originally created for Colonel Joe Rickey at Shoomaker’s Saloon in Washington, DC around 1880. Bracingly tart and refreshing, this riff includes fresh grapefruit juice to accentuate the citrus peels found in Fords Gin.

1 ½ oz Fords Gin

½ Fresh Lime Juice

¾ oz Grapefruit Juice

3 oz Club Soda

Combine the Fords Gin, lime and grapefruit juice in an ice-filled glass.
Top with soda water.
Stir and garnish with a grapefruit wheel.
