"Create. Refine. Repeat🧉 When I think of tiki cocktails, I think of potions. When I realized I wanted to work Licor 43 and grapefruit together, I became obsessed with figuring out how to compliment the creamy and complex spirit that is Licor 43 while staying true to the funk and fun of tiki. As I adapted the recipe with each ingredient, I watched the colors transform. Eventually the mix reminded me of a smoky pink pearl. I found humor in the Brandy glass that also reminds me of a perfect pink grapefruit. The most inspiring connection is Glinda, the Good Witch, from the film The Wizard of Oz. The tones and intrigue that this cocktail inspires, reminds me of the moment Glinda floats into Munchkin Land in her pink bubble. I consider this cocktail to be an enchanting experience.
