A classic cocktail -- basically a Whiskey Sour with honey syrup instead of simple. This cocktail was created at New York's famed Milk & Honey.
2 oz bourbon
1 oz honey syrup
¾ oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Lemon peel for garnish
Add the bourbon, honey syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled coupe. Take a strip of lemon peel, express the oils over the drink and rub the outside of the rind around the glass rim. Garnish with lemon peel.
