Blood and Flowers

The bitter, sweet and savory all come together in this refreshing, juicy drink. The Campari helps to balance the blood orange and the pink peppercorn syrup plays off the gin. The raspberries give some additional body to the blood orange. It’s quite complex.


2 oz Hendricks Midsummer Solstice Gin

4 oz Fresh blood orange juice

½ oz Campari

½ oz Pink peppercorn syrup

4 dashes Angostura orange bitters

4 dashes Orange flower water

4 Raspberries (muddled)

4 Mint leaves (muddled)


Muddle raspberries and mint leaves in shake. Add other ingredients with ice. Shake and double strain over ice into tall hi ball glass that has been garnish with thin sliced blood oranges. Garnish with raspberries and mint on top
