"From the depths of the ocean to the outer reaches of space! April 15 is both the anniversary of Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland and of the sinking of the Titanic. Since there isn't a Space Mountain movie (yet), and I vaaaaaaguely recall some co-promotion of Disney's The Black Hole on Space Mountain, I thought I would make both a Black Hole Cocktail and an Iceberg Cocktail in honor of these two auspicious dates. Make it count, V.I.N.CENT! This was a really fun cocktail to make, and a challenging cocktail to properly photograph. I researched and played with a bunch of cocktails that felt right for these themes. I've now had a traditional Black Hole cocktail, as well, which will make you feel a lot closer to Quark's for all my DS9 friends out there. I'll post that one at some point, too. I promise. If you want the drink to be extra murky (and a little sweeter), use ½ oz of Romana Black.
