Chemical engineer by day, and home mixologist by night. Ben likes to craft new cocktails from all-natural ingredients and add modern tweaks to old classics. While growing up in Cleveland, Ben would tend bar for his family during the holidays, but after moving to Chicago in the 90’s he spent most of his time appreciating fine wine, and the many craft beers on tap around the city.
However, about four years ago while celebrating with friends at a roof top bar in downtown Chicago he ordered a Four Roses Small Batch Old Fashioned and was handed a rare perfect cocktail. The quest to recreate that libation has led to a new passion for the mixed drink, and he has been crafting cocktails for friends and family ever since.
